About Technician Manuals

Disclaimer: Technician Manuals is a resource site only and DOES NOT SELL any documentation direction or sell access to the documentation compiled herein. Technician Manuals does not own the rights to any of the documentation listed on this site.

Technician Manuals is a free-to-use website that seeks to provide those in industrial automation related industries with critical documentation in an organized and comprehensive fashion. As a resource-only website, Technician Manuals does not sell or require payment to access documentation. Our goal is to create an industry-specific resource site that can assist technicians, engineers, repair techs, and related positions with the information needed to do their job in an efficient and accurate manner. We compile documentation from data sheets, to cut sheets, to pamphlets in an intuitive way that organizes by product line. In doing this, we enable users to jump from one manual to the next in their search without having to scour the internet for hard-to-find resources.

Technician manuals goes above and beyond to make the content usable and organized. Each section of the site is broken down first by manufacturer and then product line, while each product line page with series-specific documentation is searchable and sortable by manual/document number, title, and the part number of the equipment to which the manual refers. Additionally, we take the time to make each document completely searchable so users can quickly isolate the section needed for their unique situation with a simple Ctrl + F. We focus heavily on locating and listing documentation for discontinued, legacy, and obsolete parts as we recognize that manufacturers of such parts often delete or remove their documentation, despite continued value

Whether it is installation, programming, troubleshooting, or product specs, we’ve got you covered. If you don’t find the document you need, kindly check back after some time as we are always updating and increasing the document library that is Technician Manuals. We have considered allowing users to submit documentation directly to Technician Manuals for review, approval, and sorting in order to create an open source / community framework that will slowly build upon itself as users find it useful and seek to contribute their own cache of hard to find industrial automation documentation. For the time being, we are working internally to post our large library of documentation and organize it in the most useful manner possible

Technician Manuals seeks to be a resource for documentation relating broadly to Industrial Automation, However, we concentrate within that broad category on documentation relevant to the following types of automation:

  • PLCs
  • AC/DC Drives
  • Servo Drives
  • HMIs, Displays, Touchscreens, Industrial Computers
  • Power Plant/Turbine Control Systems
  • Protection and Control Relays
  • ... And much more!

The documentation we compile, sort, and list for the aforementioned types of Industrial Automation is often prioritized by its ability to aid in critical tech/engineering processes. We attempt to highlight the following information:

  • Error Code Lists
  • Fault Code Lists
  • Troubleshooting Procedures
  • Installation Procedures
  • Programming, Parameter Selection, Jumper Selection
  • Replacement Part Numbers

We hope you find this site beneficial and that the information we’ve compiled helps you get the job done.

Have a nice day!
